I am a poor way fairing stranger.
I've seen trouble I've seen woe.
I've made some friends and I've faced danger.
Still I go walking down that road
And if I leave you please don't follow,
It might hurt both of us that way.
Till I can shake this constant sorrow,
Then i'll return again some day.
Sometimes the road is filled with voices.
Singing songs to pass the time away.
but now the sky is filled with echoes
The words to songs have died away.
And now the bridges they are burning.
The stars are crashing from the sky.
With every step I take I'm learning,
I will forget you by and by.
And if by chance you try to haunt me,
Out of the shadows far behind,
I will not turn, my step won't faulter
I have removed you from my mind.
So close the door, put out the candle.
And lay you down and try to sleep.
Until my journey brings me near you,
within my dreams your love I'll keep..

Wow, I agree with orangedolphinspirit, it would be awesome to hear it, I can only imagine what it would sound like. It's very bold and decisive.

Very nice piece! I don't know that it is something that many people can relate too, the true meaning, but that makes it even better. I would like to hear your cd, as would others on here, so I think if there is a way to get it, perhaps you should post this in your profile?
